ELITE SLAYER V: THE FINAL CHAPTER We are proud to introduce Immortal Slayer: Elite Slayer V, the next evolution of Elite Slayer and the most ambitious expansion we have ever released. This update unlocks an entirely new tier of Elite content, featuring the Superior Instance, Infinity drops, Immortal Boss tasks, the powerful Astral Boss Contract, and much more. Face the strongest Elites ever created, take on the Immortal Darkfrost Event Boss, unlock new perks and equipment, and experience the brand new Team Raiding System, allowing Elite Slayer V players to form teams and conquer bosses together. The Immortal Realm awaits those strong enough to rise to the highest tier of Elite Slayer. Alongside this expansion we have also pushed a major Elite Slayer XP, Task and Reward overhaul, significantly improving progression, task balance and rewards across the system. We are also introducing brand new Owner’s Island Deals, allowing players to unlock access to Owner’s Island, where three powerful chests await those who obtain the keys needed to open them. THE IMMORTAL SLAYER MASTER The Elite Slayer V Master, known as the Immortal Slayer Master, is the final master in Elite Slayer, guiding players through their level 90 to 99 tasks and the most dangerous challenges within the realm. This master can only be approached by players with an Elite Slayer level of 90 or higher. If the requirement is not met, the master will respond, “You are too weak to disturb the master. Come back when you have reached Elite Slayer level 90.” Those who meet the requirement will be greeted with a first time dialogue from the Immortal Slayer Master, welcoming them to the final chapter of the Elite Slayer realm, where only the strongest Slayers are permitted to stand. Players with Elite Slayer level 90 can use the ::e5m, ::es5m, ::e5master, or ::es5master commands to teleport directly to the Elite Slayer 5 Master. These bosses are extremely difficult and can only be faced inside the Astral Boss Room, a dedicated instanced arena designed for these high tier battles. To gain access to these encounters, players must first reach level 94 Elite Slayer and unlock the Astral Boss perk. Once unlocked, players will have a chance to obtain an Astral Boss Contract as a task drop. This contract can be sacrificed to the Immortal Slayer Master in exchange for an Astral Boss task. THE ASTRAL TEAM INSTANCE Players may also challenge Astral Bosses in a team instance, allowing multiple Slayers to fight the boss together. Players can now exit the area or teleport out without being trapped inside the room or outside the instance. 2) ToA Party Stability ToA parties will no longer be disbanded upon leaving the raid. Players will now remain in their originally created party, ensuring a smoother and more consistent raiding experience. 3) Purple Chest Animations & Reward Adjustments Purple chest animations have been corrected to properly trigger when a player receives a purple reward. Additionally, reward rates have been rebalanced to improve overall drop distribution and loot balance. We’ve fully reworked and fixed the client settings saving issues. Previously, when closing the client, the latest settings you enabled or disabled were not always saved. This has now been completely resolved. All client settings will correctly save on close, including whether you were using fixed, resizable, or full-screen mode. This has been a highly requested improvement by the community, and we’re glad we were able to narrow it down and get it fixed to improve the overall gameplay experience. We’ve added the latest OSRS health bar animations to modernize the visual experience and bring the game more in line with current OSRS standards. This is a significant visual upgrade aimed at improving clarity, polish, and overall gameplay presentation. We’ve fully revamped the Pest Control shop and introduced the OSRS interface to give it a more modern and polished look. The interface is now picture-perfect and identical to how it appears in OSRS. With the latest update to the Pest Control shop interface, we’ve also revamped the Pest Control Collection Log rewards to better reflect the current state of the economy, ensuring players feel more properly rewarded for completing it The Teleport Interface has been slightly revamped with a brand new hover system and a clean OSRS-style border around the edges. We’ve also adjusted the teleport coordinates to place players closer to Warmonger for quicker access. We’re saddened to announce the removal of the OG event boss, Muhammad Ali’s Dummy. Introduced in 2019, it was one of the very first event bosses on Simplicity. We salute you and thank you for the memories. The Fragment of Seren Map tiles have been adjusted and now are walk-able. You can visit Fragment of seren via the global teleport interface The Hespori map has been adjusted and players can not walk or stand on Hespori Boss due to our new clipping method. Our scrollbar system has never been this smooth before, and we’re extremely proud of this latest upgrade. We’re excited to deliver a new Simplicity update focused on polish, balance, and progression improvements. This release introduces the new Client Launcher, alongside various Client Fixes and Performance Enhancements for a smoother experience. PvM has been refined with a Nylocas Vasilias wave reduction in ToB, a Verzik Vitur + Full ToB Drop-Table revamp, multiple ToA Fixes and more! Progression updates include a bonus E-Slayer XP boost, E-Slayer 1 & 2 Tweaks, Brand New Starter Tasks, and the introduction of powerful Corrupted Weapons. Packed with fixes and quality-of-life upgrades, this update continues to sharpen the Simplicity experience for both new and veteran players. We are proud to announce the upcoming release of Simplicity’s most advanced client launcher to date. As part of this update, we are first rolling out a JAR-based version of the launcher for both Windows and macOS players. This initial release allows us to thoroughly test the launcher in a live environment and ensure maximum stability before launching the final native versions. The new launcher introduces major RAM optimizations and a significant increase in in-game FPS, delivering a much smoother and more stable gameplay experience. Overall system usage and power consumption have also been carefully optimized to maximize performance while maintaining balance. Most importantly, the long-standing “Loading – Please wait…” issue and black screen problems have been fully resolved with this new launcher. Once testing is complete and everything runs flawlessly, we will release the final version of the launcher, including the .exe for Windows and .dmg for macOS. This launcher will be released to the public very soon, within the coming weeks. An official announcement will be made on Discord and in game once it is ready for deployment. The Start Tasks Reward System has been revamped to help out new players! We've decided to add 4 brand new weapons that are untradeable. These weapons will allow players to have mid-tier weapons that they can use to fight and attend variant bosses, events and more! We’re excited to introduce the brand-new Elite Slayer XP Boost Event, which can be manually activated by a Donation Manager during in-game events. While active, this event provides a 1.2x global XP boost for all Elite Slayer–related activities, benefiting every player currently working on an Elite Slayer task. This feature was implemented to support both early- and late-game players, making Elite Slayer progression more rewarding across all stages of the game. On top of that, a brand new Elite Slayer XP Plugin timer has been added as well, that counts down the amount of time that is left on the event. We hope this addition enhances your experience and proves valuable to everyone that enjoys the grind! Nylocas Vasilias is the third encounter in the Theatre of Blood, appearing after the defeat of the Nylocas Hagios, Ischyros, and Toxobolos. The Nylocas Vasilias room has been updated with a reduced number of waves, allowing teams to progress through the Theatre of Blood more efficiently and eliminating the previous extended wait time of up to five minutes. We have deployed several updates to Elite Slayer 1 and 2, including adjustments to mob drop tables and accuracy blocks. These changes allow all combat styles to be used effectively when completing tasks, resulting in a more balanced and enjoyable experience. XP lamps are now easier to obtain through drop tables, and Streak Rewards for consecutive Elite Slayer tasks have also been improved. The Verzik Vitur boss only drop table has been heavily revamped and is now viewable through the ::drops interface. The full Theatre of Blood drop table has also been updated and now includes a guaranteed 20B cash reward. You can view it using the ::tobrewards command. Begin your Halloween Quest by speaking to Death, located northeast of the Edgeville Bank. Death is in need of specific items, gather and return them to earn exclusive seasonal rewards! Death also brings a brand-new Halloween Shop, powered by Corrupted Energy. You can obtain Corrupted Energy through boss drop tables and the Cursed Zombie Event. Collect enough energy to unlock powerful and limited-time items before the event ends. Prepare yourself for haunting adventures, eerie encounters, and spine-chilling rewards throughout this Halloween season. Orange Items that need to be collected to make the Spider Snack: Orange Shield Key Orange Goblin Mail Orange Balloon Introducing the new Cursed Zombies Event, an intense grind experience set in the Halloween Dungeon, accessible through ::hween or ::halloween. When the event begins, waves of cursed zombies will rise from the depths, offering a thrilling challenge and valuable rewards. These zombies can drop donation scrolls, Scythes of Viturs, Corrupted Energy, mystery boxes, and more. Each event runs for 30 minutes and occurs every 3 hours, giving everyone a fair chance to join the hunt. Gather your gear, fight off the horde, and claim some of the best loot this Halloween season. Meet the Solak-o-Lantern, a brand-new mythical event boss and the first ever continuation of the current legendary event boss, Solak. This powerful creature emerges deep within the Halloween Dungeon and can be summoned once every 3 hours. The Solak-o-Lantern is one of the strongest bosses in the game, featuring multiple waves of devastating attacks that will test even the most skilled players. Defeating it offers access to one of the best drop tables ever introduced, including rare items and exclusive Halloween rewards. Additionally, the Solak-o-Lantern has a chance to drop a Mystery Great Cauldron, which releases extra rewards across the battlefield for players to collect. Gather your team, prepare for chaos, and face this mythical force for a chance at incredible riches. The Lil' Lantern is a brand-new combat pet obtained from the Solak o Lantern boss drop table. Its perks feature combat mechanics similar to the Greatish Guardian pet, including a 10% damage boost, 10% tribrid boost, 5% drop rate boost, a 10% chance of dealing double damage, and a 10% Soulsplit effect. Additionally, it is the second pet released in the game that comes with the unique feature where it has a chance on receiving the same rare drop as others from Solak or Solak o Lantern. The Lil' Lantern pet has a 5% chance of receiving the same rare drop as other players from Solak and Solak o Lantern. This means you can remain AFK at Edgeville with your pet out, and if another player receives a rare drop from any of the Solak bosses, your pet has a 5% chance to collect the same rare drop for you. The Halloween Massacre returns, bigger, bloodier, and more chaotic than ever before. Welcome to Bloody Massacre III, where familiar faces and new horrors await those brave enough to enter. Players can enter the event via ::bloody once it's activated! This year’s massacre features a massive 30x30 AoE damage boost, giving you the power to annihilate waves of enemies in spectacular fashion. LOOT BEAMS A highly requested feature Runelite Loot Beams has officially been integrated into the client! Players can now toggle bright, customizable loot beams that appear upon receiving valuable drops, making it easier than ever to spot rare rewards. Please note: loot beams will not appear while wearing a Ring of Bosses if it’s set to automatically send drops to your inventory or bank. ANTI-DRAG PLUGIN We’ve also introduced a brand-new Anti-Drag plugin, available in the Runelite settings. This feature is tailored for both PvM veterans and PK enthusiasts, allowing for faster, smoother, and more precise gear switching during combat. The plugin helps reduce misclicks and improves overall reaction time, ensuring a more seamless gameplay experience during high-pressure situations. The Simplicity Client has undergone a series of performance enhancements aimed at delivering a smoother and more stable gameplay experience across all platforms. We placed particular focus on Mac users, as we identified several performance issues affecting stability and frame rates on macOS. After extensive testing, our team successfully located and resolved multiple underlying causes, including minor memory leaks and inefficient rendering processes that contributed to lag and inconsistent performance. In addition to Mac optimizations, the Windows Client has also been refined. These improvements include overall lag reduction, increased FPS, and smoother animations, resulting in a noticeably better gameplay experience for all players. These updates represent an important step forward in ensuring that the Simplicity Client performs reliably on every device, providing the level of quality and smoothness that our players deserve. The Chambers of Xeric has been fully revamped and adjusted to provide a smoother and more efficient raiding experience. These changes were made to make CoX more accessible overall, allowing players to complete full raids or boss-only runs at a faster pace. In addition, several smaller issues have been resolved. Including bugs in the Ice Demon and Guardians rooms that previously prevented players from completing raids. This update was essential to ensure smooth progression, especially during the Raging Echoes Season, where certain variant tasks may be tied to CoX activities. The Dojo Mojo Drop-table: Players can now access the newly released Easter Island that starts every 3 hours by teleporting through the Blue Portal located at ::home, right next to the Easter Bunny, where your adventure begins. Once there, you'll encounter Mutated Easterbirds, which drop mystery boxes, Easter tokens, and a variety of other exciting rewards. Good luck on your Easter hunt, and enjoy the journey! The Mutated Easterbird Drop-table, make sure you check it out via ::drops! Players can also check the time left by using the quest tab: Easter Tokens can be obtained by defeating various NPCs across the game. With the release of our Easter update for 2025, we have also made a brand new Bunny Set that is only obtainable via the Easter Elite Box, the Easter Chest or from the Easterbird Drop-table Box. Good luck with the grind Located at ::afkzone (or through the afk portal at home) players may now collect Chocolate Eggs while being afk! Not only do you have a chance to obtain variant boxes but also the Yellow Easter Token, worth 100b per token! The Chocolate Easter eggs can also be sold to the General Shop Keeper at ::store for 31.5k each! As requested by the community in our recent poll, we’re excited to announce that Infernal Elite Slayer Perks now function within instances! To unlock these powerful perks, speak with the Infernal Slayer NPC, located just south of the home bank. The "Infernal Instance" unlock allows you to use all your unlock/perks inside the Elite slayer instance (For Infernal slayer tasks only), but the health will be *1.5 and the experience gain *0.60. We've also added the toggle feature to activate/de-activate unlocks. Slayer has been reworked and made more iron-man friendly. The task counts have been reduced, the rewards have been improved. Furthermore, we have revamped the Eternal Gem related to Slayer and Elite slayer. Players can now activate it to either speak with the slayer master or teleport to the task active. The slayer store has also been revamped with better rewards. Slayer Overhaul: Higher base points & lower kill requirements per task. Eternal Gem Fixes: Now allows unlimited teleports to your Slayer / Elite Slayer task. The Slayer Rewards Shop has been enhanced to offer more valuable options for all players, with a special focus on making it more Ironman-friendly to better support their unique journey. Players can now view and purchase items from the shop using Reward Points by speaking with any Slayer Master. The M-Achievements rewards have been fully revamped to provide greater value, especially for new players and newcomers beginning their journey on Simplicity. This update is aimed at offering better support and incentives to help kickstart your adventure. We have fixed variant issues that we recently picked up related to ToA (Tombs of Amascut). The Tekton Boss has been completely revamped, featuring brand-new Easter Token rewards To balance these significantly improved rewards, we've also increased Tekton's hitpoints, making the encounter more challenging and rewarding. Additionally, we've resolved a minor issue where Tekton could occasionally become stuck inside a wall during combat. The Hydra Boss has received several important updates: - Health has been revamped to provide a more balanced and engaging fight. - A bug affecting the animation (color) switch has been fixed for smoother transitions. - The drop table has been fully revamped, offering improved and more rewarding loot. You can challenge the Hydra by using the command ::hydra or through the Global Teleport Menu via ::tp. The Alchemical Hydra Drop-Table: The Silver Area for our Battle Pass has been revamped and we have pushed some major changes. The Ultra Perk effect has a higher chance of being activated while inside the Silver Area and the Auto Retaliation on NPC's has been fixed. And one big update, for all you afk-degens. All npc's within the Silver Area related to your task will now Auto-aggro you when you're near them! We’re thrilled to introduce Raging Echoes, Simplicity’s first ever seasonal update, and one of our biggest releases to date. This massive update brings a wave of fresh content, including powerful seasonal bosses, unique perk tasks, and a brand new teleport interface designed for smoother progression. Experience reworked systems, new collection log features, and exclusive seasonal rewards that evolve as you play. Every aspect of the game has been refined, enhanced, and expanded to deliver a more dynamic and rewarding journey. Get ready to dive into a new era of Simplicity. The Raging Echoes season is here. The Raging Echoes season introduces brand new dungeons and boss areas to explore as you progress through your seasonal journey. Use the ::stp command to open the Seasonal Teleport Interface, or simply click the Ancient Tablet located west of Edgeville Bank to navigate all seasonal teleports with ease. Players may also opt in to use a windows Hotkey "CNTRL + R" that will auto prompt the interface for you, We also have the following hotkey "CNTRL + T" for the Raging Echoes Task Interface. A Seasonal Collection Log has also been added, allowing you to complete entries and claim valuable rewards along the way. Every season is fully integrated with the new Perk System Interface, offering smooth and well-balanced gameplay where everyone starts on equal footing. Normal weapons and gear are 50% less effective against seasonal bosses and monsters, giving seasonal weapons from the Raging Echoes update a major advantage. These seasonal weapons can be forged at the Forge Machinery, and support max-level perk upgrades. In contrast, regular weapons only support the base level of each perk, meaning higher-tier perks will not apply to non-seasonal gear. One of the most important seasonal dungeons, the Dark Catacombs, plays a major role in the Raging Echoes journey. Inside, you’ll find seasonal monsters, skilling areas, and tasks from the Perk Master to guide your progression. After teleporting in, head southwest to the mining area where you can mine Daconia Rocks to collect ores. These ores can be smelted into Daconia Bars at the smithing room just northeast of Edgeville Bank. There's also a seasonal fishing spot east of the dungeon’s spawn point, where you can catch Corrupted Catfish for your journey. The Ice Dungeon is the largest seasonal dungeon, packed with ferocious monsters that can be assigned as tasks by the Perk Master. Explore its frozen depths, defeat powerful seasonal creatures, and work toward completing your collection log as you grind through the zone. The Seasonal Teleport interface (::stp) now includes two direct teleports to the West and East sides of the dungeon. Additionally, there are individual monster teleports that take you straight to specific Echo monsters, including Avaryss, Ice Araxyte and Chaos Golem. The Echo Tree Dungeon serves as a seasonal skilling area focused on woodcutting and firemaking. Here, you can chop down Echo Trees to obtain Echo Logs, which can only be burned within this area. The Perk Master may assign you seasonal tasks related to Echo woodcutting and firemaking, helping you advance your perk progression along the way. Players can also craft Echo arrow shafts and Echo arrowtips separately. Once both components are created, you can combine the arrowtips with the shafts to forge the Echo arrows. The new Echo Shooting Star works a bit differently from the regular Shooting Star you’re all familiar with. - It remains active for only 10 minutes, even if it hasn’t been mined. - On a server restart, the first Echo Shooting Star will spawn after 3 hours. - After that, it will follow a 6-hour cycle, spawning every 6 hours. - A Pickaxe is required to mine it. You can now find the Echo Shooting Star listed under the Quest > Game Event tab, along with a built-in timer to track every upcoming star! The drop table of the Crashed Echo Star. It’s the first tree to feature our Seasonal Echo items and rewards, offering an insane variety of variant boxes, XP lamps, and more. This tree loves to change locations, so stay alert, simply click the event in the tab to auto-teleport directly to the Elder Echo Tree. The Forge Machinery marks a major leap forward in item creation and weapon forging. This interface provides a full overview of all available creations, materials, and requirements. We are thrilled to unveil our latest and most monumental update yet, catering to both the community and hardcore PvMers alike. Introducing the awe-inspiring boss, The Whisperer, which comes packed with some of the best rewards ever seen for a solo encounter. In addition, we present the Ancient Guardian, the new elite slayer boss that requires no elite slayer level, offering a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to dive into elite slayer grinding. This update also features the Augmented Polypore Staff, now the Best-in-Slot F2P magic weapon, succeeding the legendary Holy Mythical Sanguinesti Staff. Alongside this, we bring you the Dark Wisp, an upgraded version of the Whisperer’s pet, Wisp. The Dark Wisp ranks as the 3rd best combat pet in the game and stands as the top F2P combat pet available. On top of that, we’ve added a new AFK tree, the Emperor Tree with boosted rewards, as well as the brand-new Battle Pass Ultra Potion and more! The Whisperer is a siren found in the sunken cathedral of the Lassar Undercity, A high-ranking personnel of the Zarosian Empire (whose rank was classified), the Whisperer succumbed to the darkness of the blackstone and was transformed into her current state. Players can visit the brand new Whisperer Boss location by typing ::whisperer or via the Global Teleport Menu. FIGHTING MECHANICS: The player must bring the Blackstone fragment to initiate the fight, as parts of the fight will require the player to enter the Shadow Realm; without it, the player will refuse to fight her. She spawns as an Odd Figure, which while aggressive is not able to attack; disturbing her will cause her to fully emerge and attack. During the fight, the player must maintain their sanity levels, which starts at 100%. This will decrease whenever the player is in the Shadow Realm or gets hit by her special attacks in varying amounts. This will restore slowly over time while the player is in the actual realm, at a rate of 3% every few seconds. If this value fully depletes, the player will go insane and die in a few seconds if they do not leave. A player fighting the Whisperer. The Whisperer's regular attack involves shooting three projectiles per attack in either Ranged or Magic. The ranged shots are purple barbs, while the magic shots are blue orbs. Protection prayers will fully block the attacks, and they will deal damage upon impact. The pattern of these projectiles will change depending on how far into the fight the player is. After each regular attack, four shadow tentacles will surface four tiles from the player in an "X" formation, converging on the tile they were on when they first appeared. Getting hit by this will deal 20 damage and drain sanity by 20%, regardless of how many shadow tentacles actually hit them. If the player is standing next to under her, she will utilize a melee attack that hits twice, with the second hit dealing the same as the first and is only partially reduced by prayer. The Whisperer will follow one of two special attack rotations each kill. She will queue up a special attack upon reaching 80%, 55% and 30% of her health on the next attack she makes, should her health fall below this threshold. These special attacks generally require the player to enter the Shadow Realm in order to stop them. Failing to deal with the special attack in time generally incurs heavy damage and drains significant sanity. Her attack patterns will also change after every special attack; after the first special attack, she will start attacking with two projectiles of one style and one of the other. After the second special attack, she will begin utilizing a "+" tentacle pattern alongside the "X" pattern. Finally, after the third special attack, she will alternate between both combat styles. Upon reaching 0 (zero) health, the Whisperer will heal hitpoints and pull the player into the Shadow Realm. She will always attack with ranged, changes combat styles after every two attacks, and a single tentacle will appear for every attack she makes. IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING THE WHISPERER BOSS: - Avoid taking any damage from her ranged or magic attacks (either by prayer or the attack misses). - Melee attacks, if prayed against, will still deal damage, but will not disqualify players; only unprotected melee attacks will do so. - Avoid getting hit by her tentacles. - Avoid getting hit by her Screech attack. - Prevent the light green corrupted seeds from hatching. Stepping on a dark green corrupted seed will disqualify the player. - Counter her lost souls' chant without taking damage. The Whisperer Drop-Table The Whisperer also grants 25 Battle Pass XP on every kill. Players can expect an always drop of 5-10B cash and 50-100 Divine charge. The Whisperer Boss comes with its own scoreboard as well for you try hards out there All of the valuable items dropped by the whisperer have been added to the collection log, including the items to create the Augmented Polypore staff (Awakener's orb and Polypore staff) as well as the new Wisp pet and the Shadow quartz which converts it into the best Free to Play combat pet in game, the best necklace and all new rings for each attack style. The first of its kind, the Wisp pet looks cute! And we know he loves ghosting around from time to time, so make sure you don't lose him. The Dark Wisp pet is created by combining the standard Wisp pet, obtained from the Whisperer boss, with the Shadow Quartz, resulting in the ultimate best-in-slot combat pet.
